Stop trying to get your life back to how it used to be

IssuesRestoring something back to where it was is no use, because that’s where the problem started in the first place!

Be discerning. What caused your issues? Be & do who & what’s required to resolve them, & move on. Rather than trying to get back to where you were, strive to move forwards to higher ground.

Nature Doesn’t Go in a Straight Line

River

Rivers meander from the mountains to the ocean—twisting this way & that, around, over, and through obstacles. Our life paths follow a similar route. Rather than get frustrated with the rocks in your path, find a way around, over, or through them.

Keeping safe doesn’t work! There’s always rocks!

Use them as stepping stones. Don’t let them have any of your energy, time or space.

Is Your Tinsel in a Tangle?

TinselIts essential you listen to your body else you’ll exhaust your adrenals & risk developing metabolic imbalances. Take time to stop, rest, meditate and rethink what you’re doing, why you’re doing it and how you’re doing it.

  • Do you need to change what you’re doing?
  • Do you need to change how you are doing what you’re doing?
  • Do you need to change who you’re doing it with”?
  • Do you need to change how long you’re doing it for?
  • Do you need to give it a miss altogether?

What Were the Low Points & Highlights of Your 2014?

2015

It can be really useful to contemplate & journal your answers to:

  • What was the most significant decision I made this year?
  • What new habits or skills have I attained?
  • How is the world different because of my part?

If any answers aren’t the ideal you’d like for yourself, you’ve got the opportunity to turn things around by living more mindfully in 2015.

  • What’s the greatest risk/opportunity you intend to take in 2015?
  • What self-limiting belief will you let go?
  • What difficult conversation(s) are you going to have?
  • What personal boundary are you going to apply?
  • Who are you going to thank or acknowledge?
  • What will you delegate?
